Bug#325692: /usr/bin/openoffice: Moving the cursor caret is really slow, it 'jumps' around if I hold down a curosr key

Package: openoffice.org-debian-files
Version: 1.1.3-8+1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/openoffice

If I try to move the cursor a longer distance (e.g. half a line to the right) it noticably jumps around, stops for a moment, then jumps a few characters again. I own a 1GHZ Athlon CPU and the problem has never occured to me in any other editorial widget. (I.e. my computer isn't too slow) E.g. Abiword, GEdit, GVim, any terminal emulator, etc. work as expected and I don't have these effects which makes correcting spelling mistakes a pain. (I have to use the mouse to move the cursor to the correct place.)
