Always. All the time.  *All* my fonts (otf, type1, tt) are available in fc-list and in every other fontconfig based program ... like abiword. They are also listed alphabetically under the /var/lib/defoma/fontconfig.d directory.

Will do. I'm running sarge so it may be a while though.

Good question but I don't remember. We just switched from upstream to Debian's package but there may be an upstream version still installed around here somewhere to test that. Will get back to you if I find out anything.
