Bug#284269: openoffice.org: Setup fails after upgrade

# this looks like an upgrade bug from an unofficial version to an official
# or from a older official to a newr official. Not RC since it is no
# woody->sarge/sid upgrade issue since woody has no OOo...
severity 284269 important
thanks

which version? Must've been ancient... Where did you install it from?

The interesting part would probably be from *which* version you upgraded...

Hmm.. It does work when you install it from scratch, doesn't it? I.e. backup
your .openoffice and .sversionrc, kill them and start setup...

It may help to get the .openoffice directory tar.gz'ed or so to look...
