The following list of new MIME types was pieced together after
searching the Openoffice.Org website. They need to somewhow be
installed on machines which are serving OpenOffice files from
Apache/Apache2 etc.
This list is included, hoping that the Debian Developers can
put into the correct package (so I don't have to manually change
all the webservers I manage).
The request for an updated list has been logged with
the OpenOffice.Org website - task# i38354
Regards, Paul

If I read the top of /etc/mime.types I see this text:
# This file is part of the "mime-support" package. Please send email (not a
# bug report) to mime-support@packages.debian.org if you would like new types
# and/or extensions to be added.
Please follow these instructions. I do not maintain /etc/mime.types.
Thanks for your help
Chris
