Re: Bug#273020: openoffice.org-debian-files: crash while loading a .doc document

We are having the same problem here (40+ users). [Writer] Documents that
worked perfectly (or at least would open) on version 1.1.1, now crash
Openoffice 1.1.2-5

What's interesting about this crash is that if the file is converted to
.sxw (using version 1.1.1), it can be opened with version 1.1.2-5; but,
as soon as the file is saved back as .doc (from either version),
openoffice 1.1.2-5 crashes while trying to open the file back.

Now, I upgraded a few workstations to Openoffice.org 1.1.3-1 and the
problem is resolved (whatever it was). But now, Calc crashes a lot when
trying to insert or delete rows or columns on files (.xls and .sxc) that
were created originally on OOcalc 1.1.1 (not MS-Excel imports).

I guess that we will have to go back to 1.1.1 and put on with all the
minor annoyances that had been fixed since that version was released.
