You probably don't have the symbolic link
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo -> /usr/share/myspell/dicts...

Its creation was lost, will be fixed RSN with an upload to unstable (will then 
hopefully reach testing in 2 days)

erm? why is dicrtionaries-common marked to be as purged? you need that...
