Bug#272297: myspell-en-us: OpenOffice.org fails to use the english dictionary by default

Package: myspell-en-us
Version: 20030813-3
Severity: normal

After installing openoffice.org and myspell-en-us, my openoffice.org
installation is still unable to do spell checking.

In OpenOffice.org, "File->Autopilot->Install new dictionaries" complains
that /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo/DicOOo.sxw does not exist. This
file has been installed by openoffice.org in /usr/share/myspell/dicts/

"Tools->Options->Language Settings->Writing Aids" does not list any
available language modules.

If I open a new text document and type stuff (including typos), and
then click on the spell check icon, I do not get any errors - just
a pop up window indicating that the spellcheck is complete.

What's wrong ?

My openoffice.org packages are at version 1.1.2-3
