Package: openoffice.org-bin Version: 1.1.0-3 Severity: minor When configuring openoffice.org-bin, the first screen contains information about prelinking. At the bottom, it asks "Should OpenOffice.org be prelinked?" but th only option is "Ok." Then the next screen asks, "Prelink OpenOffice.org binaries?" Although the user eventually discovers that she will be able to answer yes or no to this question, on the first screen it appears that the only possible answer to the question is "Okay." I would suggest either: 1) Remove the question from the first screen and just have "Ok" at the bottom so that the first screen is purely informative. or 2) Combine the first and second screens and just put "yes" and "no" at the bottom of the first screen under the question "Should OpenOffice.org be prelinked?" I would prefer (2)--I don't believe there's any policy reason why the question needs to be on a separate page. But either option would be better. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux joehill 2.4.23-pre9 #1 Sun Nov 2 18:16:50 PST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US Versions of packages openoffice.org-bin depends on: ii debconf 1.3.22 Debian configuration management sy ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi hi libc6 2.3.2.ds1-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.2.1-13 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:3.3.3-0pre0 GCC support library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.3-0pre0 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxaw7 4.3.0-0ds4 X Athena widget set library ii openoffice.org 1.1.0-3 high-quality office productivity s ii xlibs 4.3.0-0ds4 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1-2 compression library - runtime -- debconf information: * openoffice.org-bin/prelink: true -- Adam Kessel http://bostoncoop.net/adam
