Unable to enter korean (hangul) after upgrading to 1.1.0

Hi

Thanks everybody for their great work on OpenOffice.

In order to enable my wife to write korean, I use the following small script:
#! /bin/bash
export XMODIFIERS=@im=Ami
export LC_CTYPE=ko_KR.eucKR
ami &
oowriter

This worked fine until I upgraded our PowerBook during her trip to korea from
OO 1.0.1 to 1.1. (kmail still works)

It seems like OO just doesn't communicate anymore with ami, as I see
absolutely no reaction when I enter "Shift-Space" to switch from korean to
english. This used to work as long as typeface capable of displaying korean
(hangul) characters was selected, e.g. given Beakmuk Batang from the
ttf-baekmuk package.

I did not find any bug report about this problem on the openoffice.org site.

Has anybody else noticed this behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
