Bug#218065: Bad sparc cpu version for libsal.so.3.1.0 in openoffice.org-bin

Package: openoffice.org-bin
Version: 1.1.0-2

When I invoke openoffice it stop with error on libsal.so.3.1.0. The
message is:
# openoffice
OpenOffice.org for Debian - see
/usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz
running openoffice.org setup...
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/setup.bin: error while loading shared
libraries: libsal.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
setup failed.. abort

the file type of libsal.so.3.1.0 is:

$ file /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3.1.0
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3.1.0: ELF 32-bit MSB shared
object, SPARC32PLUS, V8+ Required, version 1 (SYSV), stripped

While all other libs are:

$ file /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsalhelpergcc3.so.3.1.0
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsalhelpergcc3.so.3.1.0: ELF 32-bit MSB
shared object, SPARC, version 1 (SYSV), stripped

I suggest regenerating the lib to correct it.

My computer is a SparcStation 20 with 2 90MHz CPU's

I use Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 kernel 2.4.21-SMP

Ciao, Adri
