For those of you who've been wondering how much longer... I'm done with CVS commits to bring the packages up to the current 1.0.2(pre) level, if people would like to try building packages. We stil have some items to finish before we can release some .debs: Items to do before we make a pre-102 release ============================================ * Conversion of user data from 101 to 102. - Some items have changed between the two versions. At the moment I'm considering to do the following, if a user has a ~/.openoffice/1.0.1 and runs 1.0.2 for the first time: + run setup for 1.0.2 in autoresponse mode as usual + copy just the .xml files from user/config/registry/instance/org/openoffice from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2. This is based on my visual comparison of the files in the two directories. There are other files which are different, but I think they would be better to be freshly created by a 102 setup. * Improve dictionary.lst creation. We should automatically maintain this for the entries that belong to our packages. 1.0.2 introduces a new hypenation dictionary entry. Maybe we can maintain this file with an auto-generated section similar to the method used in XF86Config. (from TODO in openoffice.org-debian-files/doc) Chris
