Hallo,

I hit the font problem with mozilla too.

Under my user account mozilla worked, under the root account it didn't.
A little debugging showed that mozilla uses a cached database of font
information. I copied this file User from the user dir to the global
conf directory:

cp ~user/.mozilla/fonts/catalog/openoffice.d0303.i62764.ndb \
   /usr/share/fonts/truetype/openoffice/.mozilla_font_summary.ndb

ls -al ~user/.mozilla/fonts/catalog/openoffice.d0303.i62764.ndb \
       ~user/.mozilla/fonts/catalog/truetype.d0303.i62762.ndb


.. after that everything works fine.
