First of all, congratulations for your upload of OpenOffice.org into Debian!
:-) The most recent upload of libfreetype6_2.1.2-4 to Debian supposedly
fixes the "opens___.ttf font invisible in OOo" problem. ftdump shows all
three CMaps now, so you may want to try it with OOo to see if it actually
works. Special thanks to Werner Lemberg and George Williams for the
diagnosis and sample code.  :-)

Cheers,

Anthony

freetype (2.1.2-4) unstable; urgency=high

  * s/FT_ENCODING_SYMBOL/FT_ENCODING_MS_SYMBOL/ (typo) in freetype.h .
    Thanks to Branden Robinson for tracking down the error.

freetype (2.1.2-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * CVS updates as of 2002-08-29 (around VER-2-1-3-RC1)
  * Make FreeType less strict when some slightly buggy fonts set
    the CMap format 4 last segment idRangeOffset to 0xFFFF.
    Thanks to Werner Lemberg and George Williams for pinpointing the bug.
