The bad news is that the problem on i386 comes from a bug in GCC (#901836). The
good news is that I applied a workaround to plplot, and just uploaded the
result (5.13.0+dfsg-8), so that package should be now ready.

I have uploaded a fix for octave-communications, based on patches available in
the mxe-octave repository.

So if the latest uploads of plplot and octave-communications work as expected,
I will request the removal from testing of: libsbml, octave-odepkg,
octave-tisean and octave-ltfat. This should allow octave 4.4 to migrate to
testing.
