Hi, I have started the packaging of Octave 4.3.91 (the 2nd release candidate), and pushed my unfinished work in git. I have refreshed patches and updated debian/copyright. For the latter, I have used "cme update dpkg-copyright" in order to autogenerate it, since the manual update process is very painful. There are two files that help the autogeneration: debian/copyright-scan-patterns.yml and debian/fill.copyright.blanks.yml. For more details, see Dpkg::Copyright::Scanner(3pm) and https://github.com/dod38fr/config-model/wiki/Updating-debian-copyright-file-with-cme An upload to experimental is not yet possible because of the following issues: - libsundials-dev (a new build dependency) is currently uninstallable because of the openmpi3 transition - I get a build failure when building the PDF in doc/interpreter/ (not yet investigated) - the SOVERSION of liboctave has not been bumped, and I don't know if this is expected to happen before the final 4.4 release. Also note that since --enable-64 is now enabled by default, we can probably close #779943 (even though BLAS/LAPACK/SuiteSparse operations will still be limited to 2^32 elements arrays).
