Okay, thanks. I suggest you take some time to read the Debian New
Maintainers' Guide[1]. Don't worry if you don't understand some parts, this
is not about knowing it by heart but more about knowing where to look
when questions arise. If you want, you can also try to build the
image-aquisition package already for your local Octave installation.
Guidelines for doing this are at [2].
I will be mostly unavailable during the course of next week, but the
other members of the mailing list should be available for questions.
