Please go ahead!

Personally I prefer to stick to git rather than move to mercurial. One
reason is that I don't know hg :) A more relevant reason is that all our
other packages are maintained in git.

I don't really see what is the value added in having the same DVCS
between upstream and Debian, since in practice the two repositories do
not share any history (the Debian repository only stores the upstream
tarballs, not the whole upstream history).

But, well, if you prefer to move to hg, I’ll adapt.
