I've installed a chrot unstable in my desktop machine and octaviz compiles fine (with either xlibmesa-gl-dev and mesa-common-dev), so I think we can consider the problem as closed. It's also DOG Gidelines compliant, I think. May a new version of the package be uploaded? -- J.
