[Ubuntu transition to 3.11.1] Specific change on lablgtk2

Hello,

We have started transition to 3.11.1 in Ubuntu Karmic and I'm looking
at Ubuntu specific changes to see if they should be merged / keep
separate in Ubuntu.

For lablgtk2, the change is the following:
