Thanks Julien, you are correct! Meanwhile I think we can upload ara 1.0.22 
(svn.debian.org/svn/ara/trunk), I didn't find out yet what causes the 
superfluous linkage with some object files, but in any case that was present 
in the previous version too, so there is no regression, but improvement since 
1.0.22 one fixes a ftbfs.
