This was annoying.
I've (thought I had) fixed the bug, since I did svn-buildpackage and
then checked that the script was executable in the resulting .deb. It
was since the build was made starting from an "svn export" which
preservers the executable bit.
Then I've rebuild the official package for the upload using cowbuilder,
assuming everything was fine. It was not, since cowbuilder starts from
the .dsc + .diff.gz which do not preserve the executable bit.
That's why I'm going from a second upload, with now an explicit chmod +x
inside debian/control.
/me hates the tiny teeny differences among
our build tools and now wonders why the hell
svn-buildpackage starts from a svn export if
that can cause unexpected build differences.
