I have an OCaml library for doing a bunch of tasks related to parsing
Debian packages/sources/release files. It contains a generic RFC822
parser, a validating parser for Packages and Sources files (including a
Policy compliant compare function for package versions) and some misc
functions for working with r-depends and virtual packages. It started
out as part of my g++ transition page[1] and I eventually ripped it out
into its own separate library thinking it might be useful to package and
upload someday.
I haven't worked on it for a bit, but I can gladly put the code
somewhere if you're interested.
Cheers,
