Hello all:
My name is Leonardo f. Bauchwitz (alias "Matechito").
I want to collaborate with Debian Non-Profit for several reasons,
between(among) which beside being an old debian user and
I form a part of a so called organization Hipatia, that is a
world-wide, popular, democratic organization to promote the adoption of
public policies combined with human and social behaviour that favour the
free availability and sustainability of, and social access to, technology
and knowledge.
We wished to promote the adoption or migration to free software, of
organizations of diverse type, ongs, social movements, etc.
In order to obtain it I have elaborated a proposal that consists in:
- to select a software set that needs this type of organizations.
- to adapt a distribution linux (I think Debian non profit), including
this software and eliminating any other one that we consider to be
unnecessary.
- To each Ongs, social movement, interested will give him a course where
a) We will explain and be detailed the reasons for which the organization
should adopt the software free for his(its,her) activities
b) One o more CDs will be delivered with the distribution (that allows
his(its) execution from CD) that contains the above mentioned tools.
c) There will be delivered documentation of use of the above mentioned tools
d) The above mentioned tools will be taught to use.
I do not know exactly which can be my contributions, but I believe that it
would be good to have the site(place) of debian non-profit in Spanish, and
I would dedicate to support it (if it is that they agree).

Mi nombre es Leonardo F. Bauchwitz (alias "Matechito").
Deseo colaborar con Debian Non-profit por varias razones entre las cuales
está que soy un viejo debianero y además formo parte
de Hipatia, que es una organización mundial, popular y democrática para
promover la adopción de políticas públicas, junto a conductas humanas y
sociales que favorezcan la libre disponibilidad, sustentabilidad y
socialización de la tecnología y el conocimiento.
Promovemos el uso del software libre, en organizaciones, movimientos
sociales, Ongs, etc.
Para lograrlo he elaborado una propuesta que consiste en:
- seleccionar un conjunto de software que necesiten este tipo de
organizaciones.
- adaptar una distribución linux (Debian non profit), incluyendo este
software y eliminando cualquier otro que consideremos innecesario.
- A cada Ongs, movimiento social, etc. interesada se le dará un curso dónde
- Se explicará y detallará las razones por las que la organización debería
adoptar el software libre para sus actividades.
- Se entregará uno o varios CDs con la distribución (que permite su
ejecución desde CD)que contiene dichas herramientas.
- Se entregará documentación de uso de dichas herramientas.
- Se enseñará a utilizar dichas herramientas.
No sé exactamente cuales pueden ser mis aportes, pero creo que sería bueno
tener el sitio de debian non-profit en español, y me dedicaría a
mantenerlo (si es que están de acuerdo).
