For nm.debian.org, at 2019-02-05:
I support Kyle Robbertze <krobbertze@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian
Developer, uploading.

I have personally worked with Kyle Robbertze (key 02F95A3F3E3B00A681B80FB5427E381D05190E55)
as a member of the DebConf video team since he was involved in helping organize
DebConf16 in Cape Town. His knowledge and mastery of audio equipment makes him a
key member of the team, and his thoroughness has been a great asset for the past
three editions of the conference, where he has helped the team either in person
(DC16 and 17) or remotely (DC18).

While I've seen some commits fly by in teams I'm not really involved with any
longer, I can't vouch for Kyle's competence as a package maintainer as I've not
worked with him on any of his packages.

However, I know that his technical knowledge and collaborative spirit show at
every step when he gets involved, for instance while he was a Summer of Code
intern with timvideos (on hardware that we've been using in the Video Team),
when he's tasked with compiling equipment lists and making diagrams from venue
plans for our conferences, or when doing or reviewing changes on the Video
Team's ansible setup. I can't see how this would be any different with the
packages he maintains.

I have no reservations that Kyle's full membership in the project would be well
deserved, and I can't wait for him to get even more involved!
