Re: DM application of Ximin Luo

Seems the client on my phone is breaking the signatures completely, I'm sending the whole advocation mail as an attachment to this email and hopefully that will fix the issue.

Have an awesome day,

Andrea

Hello Andrea,

I get the "gpg: BAD signature" error message above on my desktop and
also on master.debian.org.

Please resend.

You could test this on master as so:

1. add the following three lines at the end of your .gnupg/gpg.conf:

keyring /srv/keyring.debian.org/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg
keyring /srv/keyring.debian.org/keyrings/debian-maintainers.gpg
keyring /srv/keyring.debian.org/keyrings/debian-nonupload.gpg

2. run the command below:

mutt -f /srv/mail-archives/lists/debian-newmaint/debian-newmaint.201312

3. select and open your message

4. press v

5. highlight line 2 (the one with [text/plain, quoted, utf-8, 2.3K])

6. press |

7. enter: gpg

Regards,

Aníbal

Hi,

I've not been sponsoring Ximin's packages (status-4-evar, tree-style-tab) recently but when I was used to they were properly maintained and in good shape. In addition to that I always found him very prompt in packaging new releases and making sure all the reported bugs were addressed as soon as possible.

I therefore ack Ximin's request to become a DM and keep doing an awesome job maintaining his packages.

Andrea
