Advocacy for Andreas Beckmann
Hello,
I advocate Andreas Beckmann to become uploading DD.
Advocacy text:
Andreas joined the NVIDIA maintenance team when we were forming a new team
after the previous maintainer retired, very quickly started making
substantial improvements to the packages, and at this point has nearly
rewritten them (with vast improvements) as well as developed the current
alternatives system and coordinated with other graphics drivers in Debian.
I've been extremely impressed by his work, which includes very complex
packaging work involving alternatives, diversions, and tricky corners of
Policy.
I haven't found any important problems with his work in months and months;
at this point, I just upload whatever he asks me to upload. :) I am
wholeheartedly in favor of him becoming a DD.
