Question about gpg key.

Hi everyone,

To become DM I must to have a signed key.

Following the wiki [1] I found possible problem with my current gpg key:
pub   1024D/373BF5EE 2009-01-20
      Key fingerprint = 7FB0 D0D1 D437 58D5 4DB1  4920 0494 C216 373B F5EE
uid                  Boris Pek <tehnick-8@mail.ru>
sub   1024g/8CD37514 2009-01-20

It seems that this key is not satisfy the requirements from message [2].

But I use it since 2009 in many places. For example, in Debian and Launchpad.

It will make a lot of head pain to update my key everywhere...

Ok. I have generated the new key:

pub   4096R/28F39278 2012-01-10
      Key fingerprint = EF83 5978 1239 A919 4D2D  7F59 D001 5BD1 28F3 9278
uid                  Boris Pek <tehnick-8@mail.ru>
sub   4096R/0CA8B298 2012-01-10

Is it enough safe and satisfy the requirements?

What should be my next steps? Should I notify somewhere in Debian about new key
or just sign my packages by this key in the next uploads?
