(please provide a 5-10 line summary). I was the maintainer of mercurial. Losing interest in this software, I called for help and co-maintainer. Javi step in for more the 1 year and I have to say that he is doing a very good job, mostly alone nowadays. Not only the package is in very good shape (Javi take care of several new upstream release alone) but Javi also quicky handles BTS messages. He also has good relation with upstream where he redirects bugs when required. And all my communication with him have been very productive and pleasant. For all these reasons, I recommend Javi for becoming a DD.
