I support Jamie's DM application. I mainly know his work upstream in notmuch and monkeysphere. In particular in the notmuch case, Jamie has been playing a crucial role not only in the development of new features (yay for GPG support!) but also in the kind of communication and integration that is crucial to the Debian Maintainer/Developer.
