Iain should have become a DD a long time ago, and those of us within
the Debian Mono Group have been telling him so for a while. He's
unquestionably a talented developer, with a keen eye for detail, and a
great attitude towards improving Free Software. He does a great job
not only at the Debian level, but in dealing both upstream (e.g.
working with F-Spot developers) and downstream (working in Ubuntu to
minimize delta from Debian).

Frankly, with candidates of Iain's calibre, NM should be a mere formality.
