2. Background
-------------

  Sebastian writes about himself:
  | I'm a 20 year old IT student living in Oldenburg, Germany. I came to
  | GNU/Linux ~ 5 years ago when a friend gave me a SUSE distribution.
  | After one week of testing I hated to download dependencies by hand
  | and uninstalled it again. Some weeks later I tried Debian and fell
  | in love with its package system at once =)

He's working on full support for Openmoko's freerunner in Debian main
using the freesmartphone.org software stack, and on Debian support for
  Nokia's N900.

3. Philosophy and Procedures
----------------------------

Sebastian has a good understanding of Debian's philosophy and procedures
and answered all my questions about the social contract, DFSG, BTS, etc.
in a good way. Sebastian committed to uphold the SC and DFSG in his Debian
  work and accepts the DMUP.

4. Tasks and Skills
-------------------

Sebastian is actively involved in package management since April 2009.
He currently maintains gnome-dvb-daemon, gstreamer0.10-rtsp and
  radare. He co-maintainers fso-gsmd, intone, libframeworkd-glib, libphone-ui,
  libphone-ui-shr, libphone-utils, mdbus, openbmap-logger, phonefsod,
  phoneui-apps, phoneuid, python-phoneutils and shr-specs. (I.e. the
  freesmartphone stack.)

He answered all the T&S questions in a quick and good way.

He is already a DM, too.

5. Recommendation
-----------------

Sebastian is clearly ready to be a DD, in my humble opinion. I thus
  heartly recommend to accept him.

Kind regards,
Philipp Kern
