Hello Fellow Developers, This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Maintainer <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/Maintainers>. I have read the Social Contract, Debian Free Software Guidelines and Debian Machine Usage Policy and agree with all of them. I have also read and agree to the Debian Policy and the Developer Reference. The Debian Policy is a brilliant piece of work that strives to ensure the high quality of the project. Currently, I maintain the packages fusecompress, pytagsfs, laptop-mode-tools, apt-offline and I co‐maintain the packages argparse and inotifyx. I am also the upstream developer/maintainer for laptop-mode-tools and apt- offline. A list of the packages that I maintain can be seen at my QA Page: http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=rrs@researchut.com My GnuPG key F00A2BE6 is signed by the Debian Developer Y Giridhar Appaji Nag (appaji). I switched to this new key to have a increased strength. I would like to use this key for all Debian work. I also have an old key, 04F130BC, which has been signed by more people including Debian Developers - Erik Schanze and Julien Cristau. Debian Developer Y Giridhar Appaji Nag (appaji) has been the primary sponsor for most of my work. Piotr Ożarowski and Luca Falavigna have also helped me with sponsorship. Giridhar Nag will be advocating for my Debian Maintainer request. I see Debian as a great project that I feel happy to use, contribute and improve. I feel proud to be part of it. I look forward to becoming a Debian Maintainer. Thanks for your attention. Ritesh -- Ritesh Raj Sarraf RESEARCHUT - http://www.researchut.com "Necessity is the mother of invention."
