Re: Weekly new maintainers posts?

So, does the realist despair about just a recess for a month or so ?
Even having closing of the gate for mostly a year, some members in
Debian did not lose the hope to re-open the process, and here we are
now.

I hope some new members are welcomed in a month or so, and I think
introducing announcement will be good to have at that time.
(It does not matter if it is weekly, monthly, nor bi-monthly ;).

Even if no one in current DAM can not work for months, it does not mean
whole the current NM queue would be lost in vain. The DAM will be back
with us when he can.

On 25 Oct 2000 00:21:32 +0100, one of the DAM wrote:

And he wrote again on 29 Oct 2000 07:10:58 +0000,

 | Technically, Joey is the backup as this is a DPL delegated position,
 | and he is (still) the DPL's delegate, even if he's not active right

 | (still) plan to find more/another DAM(s) eventually.

I (and I think there are some members agree with me) wish to have more
active members in our DAM. And, I hope that will become real "eventually".
(maybe in years, but no never.)

Regards.
