It seems libcaca-dev conflicts with libcaca-dev:i386 as attempting:
apt install libcaca-dev
with the i386 package already installed returns:
Unpacking libcaca-dev:amd64 (0.99.beta20-4+b1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libcaca-dev_0.99.beta20-4+b1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite shared '/usr/share/man/man3/caca.h.3caca.gz', which is different from other instances of package libcaca-dev:amd64
Errors were encountered while processing:

Error: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
