Dear Debian Multimedia team,
I'm planning to package OSPRay which rely on embree version 4.X. So
I've updated the embree package using my own fork to not interfere with
the official repo:
https://salsa.debian.org/mzf/embree
May I merge this to the main salsa repo and prepare a package upload?
I would also volunteer to help maintaining this package.
I've working on that release and it's in my local working copy.
I'll fix a couple of issues I'm facing (maybe merging your tricks) and upload to experimental (for the transistion step).
Feel free to ping me directly so we can coordinate and maybe add you with a role on the official Salsa packaging.
