Please, instead of posting loosely a plea for others to initiate 
packaging efforts, consider taking the initial step yourself: File a 
so-called "RFP" (Request For Packaging" bugreport for each project you 
would like to see packaged in Debian.  More info on how to do that here: 
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#l1

Then, _after_ RFP bugreports have been filed, it can perhaps be helpful 
to post promotional pleas like above, _referencing_ the bugreports.

Filing bugreports earliest possible makes it easier for us all to track 
progress of packaging efforts - including dropped efforts due to e.g. 
licensing issues.

Pro tip: A quick way to check if a project is already tracked is to look 
through the web page https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/prospective - it 
seemingly lists at the moment one Non project - Non Tool Kit:
