Oh great, taking over maintenance of ModemManager (and underlying libs) would make perfect sense indeed, actually I reached out to Martin (through a salsa MR) just yesterday regarding libqrtr-glib (used by libqmi and subsequently MM for modems built into Qualcomm SoCs).
