This is purely about ftp.xx.debian.org names for mirrors. The mapping
between them and actual mirrors is manually maintained, and essentially
they've become less generally useful / required with the move to having
deb.debian.org exist on CDNs, and ftp.debian.org being an alias for
that.

The country codes for which those names already exist are likely to
continue to do so, but over time more will end up being served by
deb.debian.org rather than individual third party mirrors.
