Re: Mirror not appearing on official mirror list even though listed on the Masterlist and sponsor change

When I sent the email the mirror didn't appear on the complete list, but after restarting my PC for an update it shows up. It must have been the browser caching it or something similar. That's my bad.

Oh, that makes sense. But why are third party ccTLD mirrors being deprecated? (I'm guessing this means mirrors that aren't gTLDs are being deprecated, or is it just the ftp.xx.debian.org ones? If it's the former, I could make my mirror point to a gTLD.)

Thanks!

All the best,

Your mirror *is* on the list. It's the first in the "complete list of
mirrors" section, and the only one listed for Albania.

Is the issue that Albania is not included in the first list of mirrors
on the page? If so, that is because there is not an ftp.al.debian.org
alias. While we could create such an alias, at this stage we would
likely simply point it to deb.debian.org, as third party ccTLD mirrors
are being gradually deprecated.

That's done now.
