klecker mirror checker
We were recently forced to password protect
rsync://ftp.cl.debian.org/debian after two exploits to the pool/ that
infuriated our sponsor. We have a MOTD message encouraging mirror
maintainers to contact us to obtain a password.
I generated a password for mirror-checking purposes, notified Adam
Lackorzynski, but he replied the DMC doesn't support per-host passwords.
He said he'll take a look at it.
Does klecker support per-host rsync passwords? I know klecker checks our
mirror daily (http://mirror.debian.org/ftp.cl.debian.org.html) and it's
obviously failing to check rsync://ftp.cl.debian.org/debian.
