That's not the problem, Thiemo.  The problem is that for some reason
the PROM cannot load the Debian kernel (2.6.16) on some machines (e.g.
64 MB), showing errors such as "range check failure".  Can you look
into this?

[64 MB is certainly enough to run the installation in normal, and not
lomem, mode.]
