Not sure about that, but I spose one way that might make it possible is
if CoLo were to set a variable to reflect what sort of machine it is.
Something like the "system type" line in /proc/cpuinfo.

That way, a script could say check {system-type}.  {system-type} would
be say, "qube1" or "qube2700" for the original Qube, Qube 2 would come
up as "qube2" or "qube2800".  Therefore you could then load the script,
{system-type}.colo, allowing for system-specific changes to the script.

The thing that could be done in the meantime though would be to use a
boot menu much like the original Cobalt CD did.  That is, it asked you
what sort of machine it was (e.g. Qube 2700, Qube 2800, ...etc...) and
set the options accordingly.
