I's probably better to start with the new (sarge) installer, there's a
mini-ISO image which allows to boot and install the system over LAN
from a debian mirror.

It should work in sarge, but you still have to set the firmware
variables to boot from CD, and later switch them back to disk boot.
Just clicking on the "Install System" icon fails. I hope to fix that
before the release, but I don't have a suitable CD drive to test it.
