woody install on indigo2

Hi,

I recently got an indigo2 workstation and am trying to
install woody on it at the moment.

HW specs are as follows:

>> hinv -v
                   System: IP22
Processor: 200 Mhz R4400, with FPU
     Primary I-cache size: 16 Kbytes
     Primary D-cache size: 16 Kbytes
     Secondary cache size: 1024 Kbytes
              Memory size: 384 Mbytes
SCSI Disk: scsi(0)disk(1) (9 GB IBM
DNES-309170)
               SCSI CDROM: scsi(1)cdrom(5) (Toshiba
12x, bootable)
                    Audio: Iris Audio Processor:
version A2 revision 1.1.0

I also have got the Extreme graphics board which I've
removed from the system as it's not supported by woody.
I'm using a serial console for the installation, which
works fine.

PROM Version is:
PROM Monitor SGI Version 5.3 Rev C IP22 Oct 20, 1994
(BE)

I've burned a bootable CD using:
http://www.noc.uoa.gr/~avel/debian-mips/ip22boot.tar.gz
and tried to boot (pressed ESC after diagnostics,
selected Install Software from menu, selected extrnal
CD ROM Drive as source, started install). Unfortunately
the install freezes after the kernel was loaded:

Insert the installation CD-ROM, then press <enter>:

dks1d5s10: invalid partition

I also tried the TFTP install method with the same
result. When I'm trying to install with another TFTP
Image following the instructions on
http://www.linux-debian.de/howto/debian-mips-woody-install.html, I get the following output and the install
freezes again (Logs of my DHCP and TFTP server don't
show any errors):

>> unsetenv netaddr
>> bootp()/tftboot/tftboot.img
Setting $netaddr to 192.168.1.99 (from server )
Obtaining /tftboot/tftboot.img from server
2027520+1762928+95120 entry: 0x8800246c

I'm not sure what the problem is and what else I could
try, so help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in
advance,

Gero
