The main linux-mips.org machine is currently moving, so some services may 
be broken.

You can get a Linux/MIPS 2.4 checkout with

cvs -d :pserver:cvs@cvs.linux-mips.org:/home/cvs login
Password is "cvs"
cvs -z4 -d :pserver:cvs@cvs.linux-mips.org:/home/cvs co -rlinux_2_4 linux

Currently the cvs server is sitting on a 128kbit line until the main box
is relocated, so do not wonder about the speed...
