Hi, it seems that there is a bug in the screen blanking code in the sgi/indy Framebuffer code or in the X Server. When running an X Server on tty 7 and switching to any other text console, this console will be blanked after a couple of minutes. Just pressing any key does not give you the content back. Instead you need to go to tty7 via alt-f7 - the screen reappears and you can switch back to your text console.
