Ralfs patch brought me immediate OOPses on first sysmips(MIPS_ATOMIC_SET, ...)
which multiple people now have confirmed.

I sent a patch a coupld of days ago which at least solves the problem
for me and Spock.

I am suspecting that the glibc from the aboce mentioned base
is compiled with ll/sc not sysmips ...
