I dont think there is a problem in the prom - I guess you are trying
to boot an elf image although the prom can only boot ecoff images.

When snooping with something like tcpdump or ethereal you should see
possible access violations in the tftp setup.

Thats strange - What kind of machine is that ? R4x00/R5000 Indys
and I2s should be IP22, R8000 and R10000 I2 are something different.
