Yes - Transition to glibc 2.1.94/2.2 is the top priority goal to
get native glibc 2.2 debian/mips up and running.

I just compile 2.1.94-3 for mips (and it seems it succeeded) - Ill upload
them soon to ftp://ftp.rfc822.org/pub/local/debian-mips/glibc

The biggest problem currently is some little tiny bits of missing glibc 2.0.6
compatibility (read: bash (glibc 2.0.6 binary( segfaults on glibc 2.2)
