I want some kind of existing debian package which works on mipsel as
i havent got any time to do deep gcc/glibc/binutils debugging (unless
i urgently need to)

These are the available versions - gcc272 is obsolete - The m68k people
use the 2.8.1 .. So the mipsels should use the 2.95.2 ... I tried to 
build a cross-gcc with it - Which didnt work cause of binutils bugs
(Binutils ld segfaulted - Used 2.9.4.0.16 or something ...) ...

To use the glibc 2.1.2 someone has to fix the binutils as Ralf Baechle
states ... I have no clue on binutils so it would a bit difficult for me ...
